Anna Krause is in her senior year and more than ready to leave high school behind and start a fresh life without homework. What she didn't expect, however, was that she might want to spend a little more time inside what she thought was a prison... once she meets her new calculus teacher. A fresh, lighthearted, and warm take on the classic tale of forbidden love — romance, humor, and plenty of banter.
I hadn't realised how much I had missed this book before reading it again this weekend. The characters are endearing, the author is pretty funny, I'd say, and the story itself is overall really good... It was kind of annoying, though. I couldn't put it down even when I had other things to do because I only needed the first few words of a paragraph to be hooked for another chapter or two, which made my non-existent sleep schedule even worse. Yet all I can do is ask for more; I really can't wait to once again discover the sequel!
