Once I started reading I wasn't sure how the issues could have possibly been solved, and honestly I am still a bit taken aback by the ending. I think that the first two books managed to create a good foundation for this last book, but it still didn't fully feel like the issues were solved in the right way, or better said they felt rushed. However, what even is the "right way" if we are talking about these two main characters that are fundamentally very complex and "broken"? So this is why I decided my issue won't affect the rating for me that much.
Still a very interesting series overall, and I can see myself reading it again in the future if I miss the angst!
I have no words for the way this book made me feel, the anxiety, the pain, the happiness, Len Beeson really has a way with words. Keeping Adalyne was a beautiful end to a beautiful series. I thoroughly enjoyed having dual perspective in this book. Being able to see the character growth throughout each book really proves how well thought out it is.

Once again, I have Saphly to thank for providing me with an advanced copy of Keeping Adalyne. This trilogy has been quite a ride, and I deeply appreciate the opportunity to sit side saddle.
As may be obvious, this is the wrap-up of Adalyne’s tragic trilogy. Unlike the first two volumes, Beeson shakes things up a bit by introducing a dual first-person POV.
I feel like I don’t have much to say about Keeping Adalyne and yet also feel like I have a lot to say. I don’t know. A lot of conflicted feelings this go around.
It all felt too “clean”. Where was the messiness of it all as the two attempted to navigate some significant life factors? Kids? Petty ex-girlfriend? Other than Jazmin’s pushy selfishness and jealousy over Moira, any potential conflict is resolved with ease. “Hardly An Inconvenience,” some might say.
When I said this was a “wrap-up” of the trilogy, I meant that. For me, this felt like a 300-page epilogue. Like there was an expectation that “Jazmin and Adalyne need to get back together and live happily ever after.”
I really enjoyed this trilogy overall and am happy Adalyne got the ending that she deserved, I just wish it felt a bit more satisfying.
